Avida Land marked November 5 as a day to commemorate the First Grand Neighbor Day. As one of the leading mid-market real estate developers in the country, Avida wants to highlight the importance of being a good neighbor as a step towards building better, inspired, and united communities. We couldn't agree more.

Image It was a celebration that transpired all afternoon, simultaneously happening in 11 participting Avida developments nationwide. It was held across Avida Land communities including Ridgeview Estates NUVALI, Avida Parkway Settings NUVALI, Avida Village Cerise NUVALI, Avida Residences Dasmarinas, Avida Settings Cavite, Avida Village Iloilo, and Avida Village North. Homeowners from various condominium developments also participated in the event including those in Avida Towers BGC 9th Ave, Avida Towers San Lorenzo, Avida Towers Alabang, and Avida Towers Cebu. Bringing the Celebration of Neighborly Love to our Doorsteps My family got a pleasant surprise the very same day when we received two boxes of delicious cupcakes from Avida Land PH. This was Avida's way of spreading the celebration of neighborly love throughout the whole country. Avida Marketing Head Tess Tatco said “Through Avida Grand Neighbor Day, we want to instill within our residents and communities from across the nation a deep sense of solidarity with their neighbors, founded on neighborly values. This event will also allow them to enrich their lives with friendships and a sense of trust and security. We hope to spur people into action towards fostering good relationships with people who live in the same area as them.”  So while many Avida communities were celebrating the First Grand Neighbor Day, my own family was having our own simple celebration. We had a wonderful time eating one box of cupcakes meant for us. We have one remaining task though to complete the celebration which is to share the other box of cupcakes to one of our neighbors. Spreading the Neighborly Love So while the Grand Neighbor Day activities are happening in participating Avida communities, I was on my way to my chosen neighbor. I was informed that there were art installations unveiled where participants let their creative juices flow in coloring and doodling. Residents were also treated to a line-up of food concessionaires and social enterprises that they can support. Avida also announced its tie-up with the annual Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko. Of course, where there is a celebration, food will not be far behind thus the Neighbor's Grand Potluck. I got a bit anxious though when a closed house greeted me upon reaching the house of my chosen neighbor. You see, it was closed in such a manner that there appears to be no intention of going back. Oh my, has my friend left our community for some reason?
